- Planning and holding more frequently structured events to encourage staff, faculty, and student interaction.
- Regularly creating staff bulletin boards of appreciation with staff names, bios, and photos per department.
- Creating and making public an online, comprehensive database of all staff members of the college.
- Decentering awards and a spirit of competition in departments and instead emphasizing teamwork and collective celebration for department efforts.
- Removing all policies that limit non-exempt, or any, workers’ access to participating in the broader Davidson community outside of their primary role for the college.
- Hiring an independent auditor to regularly conduct college-wide and departmental climate surveys on staff’s needs, experiences, and ideas for solutions in their workplace or the college at large.
- Developing an issue reporting process that is anonymous and without retribution for the individual employee
- Creating an awareness campaign to increase staff access to resources and knowledge on harassment in the workplace and how to report it.
